  • Ren Yujun, Ph.D., male, Associate researcher, Department of Biological Sciences, College of Life Sciences, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. Deputy director of Biological Experiment Center. Supervisor of master degree students. 

    I graduated as a bachelor majoring in Bioengineering, Hubei University in 2003, and obtained my  Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from Wuhan University in 2009. 

    From 2009 to 2010, i worked as a research assistant in the State Key Laboratory of Hybrid Rice, Wuhan University. From 2010 to 2013, I obtained a position in the Institute of Life Sciences of Fuzhou University as an assistant researcher, with majoring in Drosophila Neurobiology; from 2013 to now, i has worked in the College of Life Sciences of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University as an assistant researcher and then an associate researcher, and began to recruit master degree students in 2015, with research majoring in Plant Gene Functional Biology and Plant Developmental and Senescence Biology. In 2004, i was funded by the high-tech cooperation project between China and Hungary, and went to the Hungarian National Academy of Sciences for a short-term research and study; in 2018, i was funded by the State Council for study abroad and went to the College of Agricultural of Kiel University in Germany for one year, and was awarded en excellent evaluation. 

    I teaches courses including “System Biology” for Doctoral students, “Avanced Cell Biology” for postgraduates, and "Botany Experiment A" for undergraduates. 

    I has presided over one youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one general project of the Natural Science Foundation of Fujian Province, undertaken one research task of National Key R&D Project during the 13th Five Year Plan period, and participated in a number of other funds. 

    I have published several SCI articles in Molecular Plant, Mol Horticulture, Plant Physiology, Plant Cell Environment and Plant Sciences journals.
